    Damaged brass

Dont know how well the pics will show the deformed brass after firing but, anyone know what would cause this? The right one is factory, the other 3 are reloads. Never saw this before

Are there extractor marks on the case?

To me, it looks like the cases are either trying to clear the ejection port late or maybe early.

Do you ever have a case stove pipe? (Sits straight up in the ejection port so next round doesn't feed.

I shoot a 30sf (45) and have not had that happen to my brass yet.

Check your slide for smooth easy action.

Haven't had a stove pipe but, it was only the second time i shot it with the LW barrel. Didn't happen the first time though

I don't think it's your new barrel. My glock does not bend the edge like that. I've got a couple thousand rounds through it.
Next time you field strip it, inspect the spring and the slide/rails for dirt or wear.

If you get a case that your die can't resize, use a dowel rod to open it up.

If the case shows a split, toss it.
