Nice! Today I set up my PMA neck turning tool and practiced on a few pieces of old brass.

The 175's and 180's are getting really popular with the short mag guys.

I uniformed some primer pockets today, nothing too exciting, just some grunt work..

Read 1911's for R700 for sale thread and lamented my current lack of funds...

I know! I'll cut your grass for the next 12 years. That should take care of it!

I would love to keep it, you dont see too many of those for sale, but I would rather put those funds into another project vs having it sit idle in my safe.

You speak my language. Seems that every time I say I will save some serious funds, something else comes by to distract me. I was supposed to be focusing on getting radar on my boat this year (along with new bottom paint!), but oh, all those toys!

Yeah, I hear ya. I was so happy with my 6.5x47 build and how it shot, I took my 308 down to Benchmark Barrels and dropped it off, so have to pay for that in a month or two...lol
I am having that one turned into a 260 improved 30 degree shoulder.

That gives me the perfect opportunity to ask, (have work I want done for my .308 as well) how is it taking your piece to a workshop and dealing with 594?
