What's the favorite bulk .223 bullets

Getting ready to do some bulk .223 AR plinking fodder. What is everyones favorite bullet? Alot are showing up now. Seen Extreme, Hornady, Berrys etc. Looking for some 55 and up bulk stuff. What do you guys use and why? Going to use Win748 with mixed brass maybe some load suggestions too

Extreme/Berry's putting out 223 now?? Are they plated??

I had good luck running the bulk midway 223 bullets, they were called something like bad dog or something along those lines..lol Shot alright on paper and great for plinking.
    I used the 55gr fmj's and the 62gr fmj's. Both worked well.

FMJ stuff. I wonder if they are Armscor repackaged.

I forgot about the armscor stuff, I bet that is what Midway is selling in bulk.

Check with Widener's, not sure what they have for bulk 223, but their "match" bulk no name 308 168bthp are pretty nice for the price.

Im using hornady and extreme 55gr jacketed bullets and so far from what little testing ive done, they both shoot damn near the same.

Last order from extreme for a 1K of these bullets was $80 shipped..

There cheap and have proved pretty accurate for what i consider "plinking" load also.

Made a Midway order yesterday. Got 1000 rds of Hornady FMJ. Also got some more tools. Little Crow WFT trimmer for .223 and a Lyman flash hole uniformer for my .308 prep. Mustang, you think those Extremes are in house or are they repacked Armscor?

the extreme 55gr bullets are a FMJ and are not plated. They shoot damn near the same , as in i cant tell a difference from them and the hornady 55gr fmj's, of course these are plinking loads, but my plinking loads are 1 moa with AA2230 at 100 yards..

they work the same for me. i do have some hornady's and extremes on hand and will buy whatever is cheaper for plinking stuff.

Hey if they are even remotely accurate I'm happy! This is bulk plinking, as long as it goes bang, burry it in the back yard stuff.
