    Just butterfly where the bone is. Top half is perfect. Bottom half where the bone was is a little rag tag. I've seen on the internet where people smoke the thing whole. I'm sure curing would take twice as long.

    Almost February again! Better be some killer pork sales again. I could use some homemade pork sausage, buck board bacon and a pork butt roast or three!

    They never want on sale this year.
    With the price of bacon the last 6 months, doesnt surprise me, their wasnt a big sale this year.

    I got a hankering for some pig products!! No sales man and the freezer is empty of sausage. Local meat supplier can get boneless shoulders "butts" for $1.75 a pound but it aint $0.99 a pound. I need some Chorizo pretty badly though!

    Women have holidays for everything! And there is always sales on stuff they insist we buy them.
    Men have two holidays, fathers day and superbowl sunday and we should be treated better.

    Both holidays should have, all meat and seafood, for half off!
